Return Policy
Thank you for shopping at The Design Scribe! We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please review the following information regarding our return policy.
Eligibility for Returns:
Physical Products: You may return most physical products within 30 days of receipt for tracked orders, or within 45 days of shipping for untracked orders, for a refund or exchange, provided the items are in their original condition, unused, and in their original packaging. Certain items may be non-returnable (see exclusions below).
Digital Products: Due to the nature of digital products, all sales are final. No refunds or exchanges are offered for digital products.
Memberships: Memberships can be cancelled, but are non-refundable. Members can manage their subscriptions and cancellations directly through their account settings. If you have trouble, you can email us at molly@thedesignscribe.com for assistance. Item’s received through your membership are NOT applicable for a return. If you receive damaged product, follow the damaged goods policy for a replacement.
Stickers: As sticker orders are processed quickly, returns are generally not accepted unless the sticker is damaged or there is an error in the order. Please contact us with photographic proof of the issue.
Exclusions:
Currently, there are no excluded products. This list may be updated at a later date.
Return Process:
Contact Us: Before returning any item, please contact us at molly@thedesignscribe.com within 30 days of receipt for tracked orders, or within 45 days of shipping for untracked orders, to initiate the return process. Please include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
Return Authorization: We will provide you with a Return Authorization (RA) number and return shipping instructions if your return is approved.
Packaging: Carefully package the item(s) you are returning to prevent damage during transit. Include all original packaging and any accessories.
Shipping: You are responsible for the return shipping costs, unless the return is due to an error on our part (e.g., incorrect item shipped, damaged2 item). We recommend using a trackable shipping method and insuring the package, as we are not responsible for lost or damaged returns.3
Return Address: Ship the package to the return address provided in the return instructions. Clearly write the RA number on the outside of the package.
Refunds:
Once we receive your returned item(s), we will inspect them to ensure they meet our return policy requirements. If4 the return is approved, we will process your refund within 30 business days. Please note that while we process refunds within 30 business days, your credit card company or bank may take up to an additional 30 business days to process the refund per their own policies. Refunds will be credited to the original payment method.
Exchanges:
Due to the nature of our online business, we generally do not offer exchanges. If you need a different item, we recommend returning the unwanted item for a refund (if eligible) and placing a new order for the desired item.
Damaged or Defective Items:
If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately5 at molly@thedesignscribe.com with photographic proof of the damage or defect. We will arrange for a replacement or refund, as appropriate.
Incorrect Items:
If you receive an incorrect item, please contact us immediately at molly@thedesignscribe.com. We will arrange for the correct item to be shipped to you and provide instructions for returning the incorrect item.
Changes to this Policy:
We reserve the right to modify this return policy at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page.
